Analogue mobiles. GSM mobiles
Article Abstract:
Four cellular telephones intended for permanent siting in a car were evaluated. The BT Emerald II was recommended as the best purchase of the three models for operation on an analogue network, because of its availability in three different packages and extensive range of features. The Motorola 7600X was considered good value, and the third model, the NEC CM3 MKII, was worth considering. There was only one telephone using the GSM network, the Alcatel MB3. A purchaser could consider this model but it has a limited range of features.
