Best buy travel cover: stolen camera, lost baggage, hospital fees ... travel insurance covers these and more while you're on holiday
Article Abstract:
Over 200 travel insurance policies were analysed to provide cover for medical expenses, personal liability, cover for personal belongings and for cancellation and curtailment. The best buys all provided the basic level of cover as well as at least 2,000 pounds sterling baggage cover. They also cover extra costs incurred due to missing pre-booked connecting flights, or internal flights. The first part of a claim may have to be paid for and there may be an excess for each person if it is a group policy.

Holiday policies
Article Abstract:
Choosing the most appropriate travel insurance can be quite complicated. Travel agents often offer discounts on a holiday in order to encourage customers to buy a particular insurance package, but these policies can be more expensive than those available elsewhere. It is important to ensure that the insurance is appropriate for the type and length of the holiday, to check that the level of cover is adequate and to see if there is any overlap in cover with any other insurance policy already held.

Best Buy travel cover
Article Abstract:
There are a number of factors to take into account when selecting a travel insurance policy. These include cover for cancelling the holiday, cover for medical expenses, the amount of personal liability cover and the amount of baggage cover if luggage goes missing. For certain holidays, such as skiing, it will be necessary to select a policy which offers additional cover. It may also be worth looking at policies which offer extra cover for delays and problems.
