Chilling out
Article Abstract:
Tests were carried out on 23 fridge-freezers to find out which ones were the most energy-efficient and worked best. The most impressive one-control fridge-freezer was the Zanussi ZO25 costing 600 pounds sterling even though it failed the freezing test because the fridge got too cold. The Beko CN260 at 260 pounds also failed the freezing test because the fridge got too warm. However, it is economically priced and efficient so it also recommended. It is stocked only by Currys. The best two-control fridge-freezers were the Scandinova FF6745D at 470 pounds and the Electrolux ER8115B at 590 pounds.

Pinpoint Accountancy
Article Abstract:
Banks have been sluggish in switching from traditional financial accounting to management accounting. Most large banks now have systems which break down business into cost sectors. They may now evaluate cost allocation based on overall customer relationships. Establishing costs will facilitate the formulation of pricing systems. International examples of types of pricing systems are given.
