High volume copiers are expensive pieces of office equipment and are capable of handling complex and long copying processes. The market is mainly concerned with speed and reliability and can be split into three broad speed ranges. High volume copiers start at 50-69 copies per minute (cpm) and go up to 135 cpm. The high volume copier market is led by Canon, Rank Xerox and Kodak. An overview of the copier market is presented.

Canon dominates the low-end sector, while Xerox leads the higher end of the market.
