On the right track?: In a special investigation, we've found that train companies' information is often far from first class
Article Abstract:
An investigation into train companies and their provision of accurate information about times, routes, fares and delays found the National Rail Enquiry Service (NRES) does not highlight non-permitted routes, often gives the wrong prices and the wrong information about whether journeys are affected by engineering works. A survey also looks at the train company's performance with regard to punctuality and reliability, and gives details of compensation for poor service.

The soft option
Article Abstract:
Hard water is supplied to 60% of homes in the UK. Water softeners can be installed to treat the water, however, in such cases, drinking water must be sourced elsewhere, as the softened water contains excessive levels of sodium. Similarly, physical conditioners are used to prevent the formation of limescale, and are available in magnetic, electro-magnetic and electrolytic types. Water filters can be used to remove chlorine and other chemicals.
