Suites

Article Abstract:

The three most popular software suites in the microcomputer market are Lotus SmartSuite, Microsoft Office 95 and Novell PerfectOffice 3.0. Lotus SmartSuite is a well-integrated package with many useful features. It comprises Lotus WordPro, Lotus Freelance Graphics, Lotus Organiser and Lotus Approach, each of which is easy to use. Microsoft Office 95 is a 32-bit package designed to be used with Windows 95. The suite allows for the use of long filenames, rather than the truncated names previously, making it easier to find files. Novel PerfectOffice 3.0 is a repackaged version of Borland Office. It is a powerful package, but its main drawback is its large storage requirement.
