Les a rosols lorgnent les march s des injectables'encre
Article Abstract:
Pharmaceutical laboratories are looking for ways to administer medications which are the least unpleasant for the patient, such as replacing injectable medications with aerosols. Some laboratories, such as Lilly France and Pfizer are currently carrying out studies on packaging three types of medications in aerosols or sprays - hormones (insulin), vaccines, and medications for migraine headaches. Hormones in aerosols or sprays may come out in 2000 or 2002, while flu vaccines in the form of a nasal spray are to be launched soon.

Loc Maria change de mat riaux
Article Abstract:
Loc Maria, the Breton biscuit company, has decided to switch from metal cans to cardboard or plastic boxes in order to reduce pollution at the source. These are lighter, with 135 grams for a carton, and 205 grams for plastic, compared with 400 grams for a metal can, resulting in 66% or 49% less packaging weight for Loc Maria. The second advantage in switching materials, is that it saves space and transport costs since around 2,400 cardboard boxes can be placed on a pallet compared with 540 cans.

FRANCE: MADRANGE ADOPTS AN OXYGEN ABSORBER
Article Abstract:
Madrange is packaging its ham in a transparent tray under modified atmosphere in order to tackle the British market, where this packaging is in fashion. But the ham in packaging with a transparent lid changes colour as it ages, which is likely to put the consumers off this product on the shelves. In order to remedy this problem, Madrange has placed an oxygen absorber inside the lid.
