Soplaril veut rester ma tre de son d veloppement
Article Abstract:
In France, Soplaril, a soft packaging subsidiary of Elf-Atochem, made a 1997 turnover of FFr 1.15bn, for an output of 55,000 tonnes of packaging with 1,100 employees in seven plants. It makes 30% of its turnover from exports. The objective for the future is to post a 5% to 6% annual rise in turnover through internal growth alone. The company allocates 2% of its turnover to research and development every year. The company's plants all have ISO 9002 certification, and are equipped to handle from start to delivery. Soplaril, which produces 170mn Doypack units per year, is expected to take its place among the five European leaders for soft packaging in the near future.
