A reinterpretation of the genesis of the Cae Coch pyrite deposit, North Wales
Article Abstract:
An analysis describing the Cae Coch pyrite deposit in North Wales is presented. Ratios of sulphur isotope and Co/Ni were measured from samples taken from the pyrite deposit and lithologies in North Wales. Sample analysis shows that a biogenic sulphur source generated much of the deposit while certain values may have been due to sulphate depletion. Sulphide mineralization at the site may have generated from syn-diagenetic inhalative sources.

Discussion on the crustal evolutionary model for the Variscides of Ireland and Wales from SWAT seismic data
Article Abstract:
An analysis describing research on crustal evolution is presented. The specified research focuses on a model for the Variscides of Ireland and Wales using seismic data. It is shown that crustal reflection profiles must be prepared with discipline to avoid the mistake of over-interpretation. However, analysis also shows that it is possible to generate different models using the same seismic data base.

Discussion on Palaeogene dyke swarm, NW Wales: evidence for Cenozoic sinistral fault movement
Article Abstract:
Bevins, et al.'s conclusions about Cenozoic tectonic activity in northwestern Wales are not valid as they are based on misinterpretation of data and conclusions of researches carried out by other researchers. Thus, there is no basis for concluding that there have been significantly large sinistral fault movements in the area.
