Comments on "large-scale aspects of the United States hydrologic cycle
Article Abstract:
Roads' model for characterizing the US hydrologic cycle fails to provide the extent by which systematic bias originating from the use of analyzed moisture flux divergence influences the results of the cycle. The main problem lies in the computation of the estimates of evaporation rate E that is deduced from the atmospheric water budget. The many potential errors in the moisture flux divergence are other sources of error, resulting to an underestimation of the precipitation rates produced by the forecasts.
