Genesis of diamonds in the lower mantle
Article Abstract:
The idea that diamond formation starts initially on the lower mantle was derived after the 'forbidden' inclusion assemblage (ferropericlase + enstatite) evidence was considered. Diamonds observed, such as those taken from Sao Luiz, Brazil, showed the presence of ferropericlase. Also, such diamonds were found containing an inclusion called enstatite which is believed to have existed originally in the lower mantle as MgSiO3-perovskite.

Fluid inclusions in high-pressure granulites of the Pan-African belt in Tanzania (Uluguru Mts): a record of prograde to retrograde fluid evolution
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted on fluid inclusions in high-pressure granulites found in the Uluguru Mountains in Tanzania to determine their metamorphic fluid evolution. A laser Raman microspectrometer was used to analyze the fluid inclusions in different minerals of metapelites and garnet-pyroxene granulites. Results show that high-density fluid inclusions can be preserved, indicating a shallow dP/dT slope of the uplift path.
