Rock to sediment-slope to sea with (super 10)Be-rates of landscape change

Article Abstract:

Measurement of cosmogenic nuclides, predominately (sup 10)Be allow new insights into the ways in which and the races at which sediment is generated, transported, and deposited over timescales ranging from 10(super 3) to 10(super 6) years. The analysis and interpretation of cosmogenic nuclides has given geomorpologists an unprecedented opportunity to measure rates and inter the distribution of geomorphic processes across Earth's varied landscape.

Production, isotopic composition, and atmospheric fate of biologically produced nitrous oxide

Article Abstract:

The mechanisms that lead to biological nitrous oxide production and the process of the discriminate placement of N (Sup-15) in to molecules of nitrous oxide are described. It is stated that a constraint can be placed on the isotopic composition of biological sources of nitrous oxide and trace its fate in the atmosphere.
