Enhancing climatic-change information sharing
Article Abstract:
Climatic change has emerged as one of the most important branches of interdisciplinary research. However, there are conflicting opinions on the state of climatic change research in terms of its functionality or harmoniousness. One of the biggest problems in climatic change research is the lack of a standard system for the sharing of information between researchers and policymakers. A climatic-change information exchange system is proposed as a solution to this problem.

Application of stochastic simulation to climatic-change studies
Article Abstract:
Stochastic simulation models for statistical analysis of daily air temperature and daily precipitation are presented. These were combined with general circulation models that predict climatic changes due to CO2 doubling used in a station in northern Canada. Results indicate that stochastic modelling is an appropriate approach to quantify potential hydrologic impacts of climatic change.
