Article Abstract:
Advertising budgets have been small in percentage of sales and, while rum advertisers are capitalizing on their Cuban or Carribbean heritage, the brandy advertisers are trying to shrug off their past and appeal to a new generation of drinkers. The EU members have decided on self-regulation in regards to combating advertising of spirits to the young.
