Article Abstract:
Would-be Web site owners are advised to establish a Web site contract with any third party involved in the site's launch or management. The Web site contract should cover the financial outlay incurred to select a unique domain name and a definition of site ownership. The Web site should be defined as a nonvirtual, virtual or true virtual hosting system. Site development charges and management costs should also be agreed. Other issues are discussed.
