Decomposition by causal forces: a procedure for forecasting complex time series

The effective decomposition of complex time series by the use of causal forces by the forecasters on automobile accidents, airline accidents, personal computer sales, airline revenues and cigarette production is examined.

Coherent forecasting in integer time series models

Article Abstract:

A study suggesting optimal forecasting methods for observation-driven time series models is presented. In this context, integer-valued autoregressive models are also discussed.
