Design for learning and innovation

Article Abstract:

An environment that stimulates and facilitates individual, team and organizational learning is possible, as long as it is designed effectively. A design should consider the synergies between organizational strategy, structure, culture and systems to allow organizations to build and expand learning capacity. This was concluded following a study aimed at developing an effective project design for the new product development efforts of an aircraft manufacturer, which led to the 'project network structure' as an approach in effectively integrating workers whose goal is to complete an aircraft.
