A survey of females from the age of 15 and older revealed that about 88% of women in the UK use perfume. Statistics are included for the reasons men and women gave for purchasing certain fragrances. Older women exhibit greater brand loyalty. Purchases of perfume declined slightly between 1999 and 2001.
