Article Abstract:

The use of trade shows and exhibitions to showcase products and services have been regarded by some people as an ineffective marketing method, but there are ways managers of these events can improve their usefulness. For example, it is often appropriate to combine related activies in one area that take place at the same time because more visitors will be attracted.

Singapore's Central Package Group, or Cenpak, has followed its client base and is operating in countries where the cost of doing business is lower and the market potential is great. Cenpak has seven package manufacturing facilities in China, four in Malaysia and one in Indonesia.
