Thierry Mugler
Article Abstract:
Fashion designer Thierry Mugler has invented one-piece, wrap-around plastic sunglasses that are ultraviolet ray-protected. The sunglasses have bulbous lenses and can be specially ordered for about $250 apiece. The design of this fashion accessory was inspired from bugs, and was matched with a patent leather suit whose design drew its inspiration from an ant. The sunglasses were introduced at the 1997 spring and summer couture collection show in Paris.
