Hayekian evolution reconsidered: a reply to Hodgson
Article Abstract:
Differences in interpretation concerning Hayek's views on the Malthus-Darwin relationship, cultural evolution, the extent to which Hayek may be characterised as an ontogenist, and the methodological individualism have not changed, though certain area of agreement are noted. It is evident that Hodgson has not fully freed himself from his earlier mistaken characterisation of Hayek's methodological individualism.
