Men's lifestyle magazines

Article Abstract:

Rapid growth in the men's lifestyle magazines sector due to changing men's attitudes is examined. The sector is young, but fast maturing and is regarded as mainstream by advertisers. Actual and potential purchasers are largely in the 15-34 age group, with higher incidences amongst ABC1s. The size and changing age structure of the male population in the UK is a determining factor in the future of men's magazines. Market segmentation, the supply structure and advertising and promotion is discussed in detail.
