Is anti-dumping here to stay?
Article Abstract:
Anti-dumping regulations need to be reformed to ensure that they do not become a hindrance to free trade. These regulations, which are promoted by influential interest groups, can be modified in several ways to minimize their detrimental effects. Steps that can be taken include dispensing with the practice of calculating market share cumulation in determining injury, introducing counterfactual analysis in measuring injury margins, and reformulating the World Trade Organization's definition of dumping in its Anti-dumping Agreement.
