Justice and home affairs

Article Abstract:

The year 1998 may be considered as one of the most challenging periods for the EU. The year was marked not only by international conflicts, but legal quandaries and trade disputes as well. Despite these problems, the agency has performed remarkably well in improving justice and home affairs, as proven by the implementation of more effective asylum and immigration policies. EU officials must also be commended for their efforts to mitigate organized crime problems in the region.
