Article Abstract:

Implementation of the monetary system, called standard formula, required several things like a good technology to make coins, understanding of the relevant monetary theory and a government wanting to convert token coins into full-bodied coins on demand. It is argued that problems associated with full-bodied coinage system are not depicted.

Robust monetary policy with competing reference models

Article Abstract:

The existing literature on robust monetary policy rules has largely focused on the case in which the policymaker has a single reference model. A more promising approach is to consider a range of distinct reference models and to identify rules that provide robust performance across these models.
