Optimal voting rules
Article Abstract:
The maximum likelihood method is ideal if voting is considered an exercise in achieving factual accuracy or fulfilling a common goal and in various ways of making political decisions, which is the best policy approach. It stands for the medium opinion when voting needs to compromise between opposing transferable vote and the Bords rule but remains practical considering modern computing facilities. It is instinctively easy to understand and better than current methods and will soon be the standard instrument for decision in politics and groups.

Approval voting
Article Abstract:
Extensive voting research reveals approval voting to be a feasible option to the plurality or Bordas rule. It eliminates chances of a minority candidate winning and abets moderate positions among candidates. It has proved satisfactory and is being used in a variety of milieu. Its use will continue to expand, especially when considering the pitfalls of the plurality rule when a single office has more than two candidates.
