Reference points of industrial policy in Sverdlovsk Oblast
Article Abstract:
The economic crisis in Sverdlovsk Oblast is primarily due to lack of government regulation between regional agencies and principle shareholders. Too many enterprise "owners" interested largely in short-term, personal gain have degraded the need for investment and long-term regional growth. A plan proposed by the oblast can reverse this trend.
