Small Business: Outlook

Article Abstract:

The fall by eleven points in February 2003 in the net percent of owners to 12 percent, expecting the economy to be 'better' in six months is reported. Seventy two percent of the people, who view the current period as unfavorable for expansion, blamed economic prospects, 8 percent cited poor sales prospects, and three percent each cited the high cost of expansion and fifteen percent the political climate.

Small business outlook: outlook

Article Abstract:

A survey was conducted by the NFIB Research Foundation to study the small business outlook and whether it was a good time to expand or not. The findings show that 25% thought that the next three months from February 2003 would be a good time to expand, due to better economic conditions. sales prospects, favorable financing and political climate.
