Stackelberg's concept of the post-war economic order

Article Abstract:

Regarding post-World War II Germany, Heinrich von Stackelberg presented several views on how to go about rebuilding the economy. The proposal that Stackelberg presented include the rejection of a command economy in favor of a decentralized market economy. The proposal provided outlines of a theory of functional economic instruments and provisions for public finances to play a part in development.

Heterogeneity among barterers and vendors in the informal economy

Article Abstract:

Consumption and demographic profiles are provided for various barter and vendor groups. Those individuals who operate in the informal economy as vendors and barterers are the youngest, have the highest educational levels and the highest income levels.
