The New Southern African Customs Union Agreement
Article Abstract:
The article compares and contrasts the 2002 revision of the Southern African Customs Union to its original version, implemented in 1910. Although differences in trade policy capacity and policy divergences introduce new challenges, the new agreement allows for sustainable revenue sharing and shared decision-making.
