World assessment: US federal budget: deficits as far as the eye can see?

The US is expected to have budget deficits for several years, before experiencing small surpluses. In 2002-2011, there will be a $378 billion cumulative deficit. The article looks at the next tax cut, the 2004 budget and the OEF budget projection, among other issues.

Article Abstract:
The UK budget for 2003 may not have a major impact on the country's supply-side performance. Among the budget measures discussed, one is the discretionary loosening of only 505 million pounds sterling in financial year 2003-04. Aspects of the budget are discussed.
