Even with attention turning away from the war in Iraq, t he global economy has been impacted by a great deal of geopolitical uncertainty. The article discusses various economies, such as those in the US and Japan, and provides a tabulation that summarizes international forecasts for 2002-07, offering G DP/GNP, inflation, current account, exchange rates and commodity prices data by country.

United States: the economic indicators turn south

Article Abstract:

Average annual growth of the US economy should be about 2.25% in 2003. Among the positive indicators, retail sales rose 2.1% in March after a weak February, which may have been due to severe weather and the absence of auto incentives.
