Box clever for a culture on autocue; a television presenters' course
Article Abstract:
It is suggested that for academics a television presenters' course is a good way of improving presentation skills. Courses often consist of prepared and impromptu pieces to camera, and reading from an autocue. It is essential that participants are able to offer and take criticism when the tapes are replayed. Visual presentation can be more effective than other forms and it is suggested teaching via video is a useful skill for academics.

Clever measures
Article Abstract:
IQ testing is an established method of testing intelligence, but lacks a scientific basis. The electroencephalograph has shown that IQ is related to the time taken for a subject to react. This is especially the case with the Averaged Evoked Potential. IQ heritability is about 80% among adults in developed nations, but only roughly 50% in children.
