Examiners get into gear
Article Abstract:
External examiners may face excessive pressures in their roles as identified by Quality Assurance Agency Chief Executive John Randall. The need for external quality assurance from statutory and professional bodies should be minimized, but a survey of law teachers suggest that a problem will be experienced in the selection of appropriate external examiners. Law school heads will experience financial pressures in selecting external examiners for all modules. However, overall those teachers surveyed approved of the role changes.
