From 'minority' to 'diversity': The transformation of formerly race-exclusive programs may be leaving some students in the cold
Article Abstract:
Two landmark U.S. Supreme Court rulings in 2003 have resulted in some institutions abandoning the use of race-exclusive programs, affecting minority students who could have benefited by them. Most of the programs have shifted their focus from increasing minority access to education to serving the broader goal of promoting campus diversity.

The First Amendment contains the most important of political freedom and its importance for adults is obvious, but its importance for children is less clear. It is recommended that the First Amendment should function differently for children and for adults.
