Article Abstract:
The Graduate Employability Test (GET) that will be available to British graduates and diplomats from Feb. 1997, has been devised with the aim of helping students obtain job interviews and helping employers decide which students to interview. The GET, which has been described as the Nous Test, tests students' skills and aptitudes in such areas as literacy, numeracy, computer acumen, leadership skills, communication skills and problem-solving. Students will be provided with a profile of their skills in these areas which they can use with their CV when applying for jobs.
