Article Abstract:
Uniting Networks Inc (Atlanta, Georgia) is to launch its PowerResearcher software package in the United Kingdom at a major plagiarism conference in late-June 2004. The package forces students to produce their written assignments under a powerful electronic gaze, forcing them to use correct citation procedures and logging every web page they visit. The launch of the package coincides with increased efforts by universities in the UK to halt the rise of internet plagiarism.
