Course loses quality stamp
Article Abstract:
The British Psychological Society (BPS) is set to withdraw accreditation from the psychology degree at De Montfort University amid claims that the university 'inflated' lecturer numbers. Accreditation will be withdrawn unless the university can provide evidence that there is one lecturer for at least every 20 students.

Article Abstract:
Universities are censoring most criticism of course quality from the examiners' reports which they have to publish to help students select where to study, according to the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). The QAA says that the universities are providing so little information that the public reports are almost useless.
