Obesity surgery: A risky miracle?
Article Abstract:
The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey reported that around 64 percent of adults in the US are obese and this number keeps rising leading to a cause of concern with its related medical problems such as arthritis, diabetes, and hypertension. Several people are thus opting for bariatric surgery, a procedure that restricts the stomach leading to limited intake of food and hence good health.
