Article Abstract:

An examination of UK eUniversity (UKeU), a joint venture between the higher education and private sectors, and the problems that it has faced since it was announced in February 2000. UKeU, which is backed by UKPd62 mil worth of government funding, aims to deliver British degree courses to students across the world, but it has been dogged by a slow roll-out. To date the university has only launched two courses, with a further 12 due to be introduced in autumn 2003.
