So farewell then, John
Article Abstract:
Antony Seldon has been writing a biography of the former UK Prime-Minister John Major since 1995. Seldon found that Major was being criticized by the Labour party who felt that he had allowed inequality to increase within the UK. The liberal element believed that although Major initially had many liberal plans he gave into the right-wing of his party. He was seen by some as a poor leader and organizer which allowed poor behaviour within the party to flourish. The right-wing felt Major was not following Margaret Thatcher's ideology. Seldon considers Major to have been an effective Prime-minister.
