Article Abstract:
An analysis of the differing attitudes towards academe of older academics and academics in their 30s and younger. The younger generation of academics are optimistic about the state of academia while older academics are regarded as curmudgeonly and are seen as being sullenly pessimistic about the direction academia has taken.
