Article Abstract:

Ten monuments were erected in Dublin, Ireland at the end of the 19th century, of which only two now remain. The ten monuments included statues of Lord Nelson, William III, George I, George II, Viscount Gough, Queen Victoria, and the Earl of Carlisle, Earl of Eglinton and Winton, Prince Albert and the Duke of Wellington, of which only the last two remain. The history of the destruction of the eight monuments is given.

Giant among scientists, but few recall his name

Article Abstract:

The achievements of Leonard Euler, the most prolific mathematician of all time and one of the greatest scientists ever, are discussed. It is a matter of concern that Euler is not as well known as he deserves to be, due to the prevalent arts-biased culture of Britain.

Disneyland with the Queen? I recall it well
