U.S. drug policy: the need for commonsense reform
Article Abstract:
A harm-reduction approach should be incorporated in the US drug policy. The approach involves lessening diseases, deaths and crimes associated with usage of drugs. Drug control officials should prioritize making methadone and sterile syringes available to drug users to control the spread of HIV.
