A novel application of four-terminal floating nullors
Article Abstract:
Four terminal floating nullors (FTFNs) are more flexible and Versatile building blocks than the usual op-amps (OAs). An FTFN may be used to generate a comprehensive collection of various practical useful transformer types, not realizable by a conventional op-amp. A simple and general technique is presented for synthesizing general floating immittances (FIs). An appealing feature of the proposed technique is its capability of providing a unified treatment of the problem of floating immittance realization using a variety of active devices.

Vector median filters
Article Abstract:
Two nonlinear algorithms, known as vector median operators, are proposed for processing vector-valued signals. These algorithms are derived from two multidimensional probability density problems using the maximum likelihood estimate approach and have properties similar to those of the median filter. An application to filtering wind velocity is presented as an example: the filters could also be applied to color signals, remote sensing, motion vector fields, and complex values signals in communications.
