PolyScience introduces Safety Mate, a device that provides an extral level of safety and control flexibility for industrial equipment, pumps and heating/cooling equipment. With this unit, an additional safety control switch, such as a flow switch, temperature limit, and/or pressures switch can easily be added to any process. Safety Mate has remote on/off monitoring and switching capabilities, and can provide signal voltage to external relay, and visual and audible alarms.

JM Canty offers the SolidSizer, a vision-based sensor used with the Vector System for dry particle-size measurement in a production environment as an online tool. The unit performs two-dimensional analysis of dry solids. It is equipped with a black-and-white camera with a shutter-speed control and a variable magnification lens, a light source with a flexibe fiber-optic light guide and a vibratory feeder to present sample material to the camera/lights in free-fall.
