James Dyson, founder of global vacuum cleaner giant Dyson, which cleaned up in the vacuum cleaner market with revolutionary stylish product designs, speaks to Dean Palmer about the important design innovations over the last 25 years and what the future holds for UK manufacturing and engineering. He describes the reason behind his decision of shifting the manufacturing to Malaysia, which includes proximity to supplier base, availability of low cost labor and expansion of business.
