Knowledge Reorganization and Reasoning Style
Article Abstract:
Developing an expert system that can learn needs to learn rules and facts, learn new ideas, and reorganize knowledge. Some examples of economic reasoning are explored. Graph and goal based searches are discussed. The links and search heuristics are compared. The search heuristics can be evaluated to find which are best for given circumstances. Novice knowledge is organized around physical entities. Expert knowledge is task centered. Novices can learn from expert knowledge. Novice reasoning is failure prone, so they can learn from failures.
