Article Abstract:
The British seem to be stealing a march on the Germans and Danes, who so far have led the way in promoting large-scale wind generation. The British consensus seems to be that the price is worth paying to obtain an adequate future energy supply while reducing greenhouse gas emissions without resorting to new nuclear power.
