The software has the unique facility to simplify models so that fluid flow analysis runs faster. Meanwhile, Computational Fluid Dynamics has launched its new computational fluid dynamics software Star-CD Version 3.05. The package has the facility to achieve high accuracy in automatically generating meshes.

Models find themselves a fix: new software converts and repairs 3D CAD files

FEGS, software developer, has introduced its CADfix Version 3 model repair utility package for converting and repairing 3D CAD files. Models can be processed in any form, including STL files. The package is being used by companies including Rolls Royce, DuPont, Allied Signal and Ford, and is available in both NT and Unix versions.
